If you always thought Britain was England, your in for an education. The British are a supranational state no different from the USSR, EU, Yugoslavia. GB is an Island containing two Countries and a principality.
Stop blaming Boomers. The generational finger-pointing is lazy, divisive, and lets the real problem off the hook.
Boomers, Millennials and Zoomers tearing lumps out of each other over “who ruined the country” is a gift to the people actually running the machine. Working-class Zoomers are not the architects of this system. Many of them are being asset-stripped by the state in real time — high rents, frozen wages, student debt that never dies, and a benefits system that treats both the young and the old like suspects.
Look at the DWP. An 88-year-old in end-of-life care has benefits stopped not because they were never entitled, but because they cannot upload a bank statement. Computer illiterate. Confused. Dying. The process is the punishment. That is not “efficiency.” That is a state that has forgotten the people it claims to serve.
Andrew Fountaine walked away from the NF and later the BNP orbit for a reason. He saw the infighting, the drift toward elements that were both politically toxic and morally repulsive, and the way internal warfare always served the same outcome: the working class stayed divided and the system kept rolling on. He chose not to play that game.
The system does not care which generation you belong to. It cares whether you own assets or you don’t. Blaming Zoomers for the housing market, the welfare state, or the culture war is just another way of refusing to look at who actually wrote the rules and who profits from them.

England is not a synonym for Britain. Britain is a political union. England is a country that existed for centuries before that union, with its own law, its own church, its own parliament, its own people, and its own name. The Acts of Union did not abolish the English nation. They bound kingdoms together. A British passport makes you a subject of the Crown and a citizen of the United Kingdom. It does not, by itself, make you English — any more than it makes a Scot English, a Welshman English, or an Ulsterman English. If those distinctions were meaningless, devolution would be meaningless, the national football teams would be meaningless, and the word “England” on every statute, charter and battlefield before 1707 would be a clerical error.
